INSPIRATION! He had F9 in all his Exam Subjects, yet he finally graduated with first class in the University.
A Nigerian man has celebrated graduating from university in style after first having an F9 parallel in his NECO examination years ago.
His name is Mayowa Joshua Amusan. He had not only graduated from the University of Ibadan with a first-class in Agriculture Economics but finished as the best in his department.
Before attaining this feast, Mayowa said he failed woefully in his ever-first examination - NECO. He later wrote WAEC 3 times before clearing his papers. The stress was so depressing to him that he initially felt reluctant to apply for UI because of the feared of failing the exams.
However Mayowa decided to proceed to The Polytechnic, Ibadan Oyo State.
At Ibadan Polytechnic, Mayowa performed well, finishing with a distinction and decided to cross over to the University of Ibadan (UI) through Direct Entry. Even at that he was initially scared too he may not be able to scale through the POST UME.
The young graduate inspired the internet with his incredible academic success story.
Taking to LinkedIn to celebrate the feat, Mayowa shared a copy of the F9 parallel result, adding that he was able to clear his WAEC papers after 3 sittings.
He got into University of Ibadan via direct entry. And at UI he became exceptional thereby earning himself as the best overall student in his department.
According to Mayowa he also have God and members of his family to be grateful for the support system. He therefore encourages every youth never to give up in their determination for success.
"With God, hard work, a loving family, and good friends everything is possible. "Keep at it and DO NOT GIVE UP!" he concluded.
