Kanu's trial adjourned again to January 19, 2022

Nnamdi Kanu appeared at the Federal High court today for the treasonable offences that has been filed against him by the Federal government of Nigeria. But unfortunately some of his lawyers especially Mr. Bruce Fein from US were not allowed entry by the DSS operatives. Due to the anomalies the other lawyers therefore staged a walkout. The judge, justice Binta Uyako who felt offended by the action decided to adjourn the trial to next year January 19.

Earlier in the day traditional rulers, supporters of the Indigenous People of Biafra and important dignitaries from the south east had converged at the premises. Unfortunately they were also denied entry into the court house by the security operatives.

At the time of filling this report the air is not yet clear of the next steps to take by Kanu's lawyers.
