SHOCKING; Chief of Defence Staff, General Leo Irabor allegedly ordered 50 Generals to resign from service with immediate effect
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Leo Irabor has allegedly ordered the immediate resignation of 50 Generals in the Nigerian military.
It was gathered that 25 of the military general are in the Nigeria Army, while others are in the Air Force and Navy.
According to Daily Post, General Irabor gave the order at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja on Monday.
The reasons for the sudden order was not made known. He reportedly thanked them for their service and told all present that it was high time they left office.
“They are about 50; 2 of them in the Army will retire in 2022, while the rest have about 3 and half years left in service”, the source told Daily Post.
According to Naija News investigation Course 36 Generals still have more than three years before their retirement. So it was a bit shocking to ask for their immediate departure.
